As if you don’t know this already, I love creepy. That’s one of the million reasons I’m super excited about the upcoming SYDNEY MACKENZIE KNOCKS ‘EM DEAD.

I wondered (I do that a lot), what is the oldest cemetery in America? Because that’s surely the creepiest, right? This is what I dug up. Get it, “dug” up?

The Myles Standish Burial Ground

Myles Standish was a pilgrim. The old cemetery, also known as Old Burying Ground or Standish Cemetery, is in Duxbury, Massachusetts…I wonder if that’s near Salem.. witches and all.

The burying ground is the final resting place of several well-known Pilgrims who arrived on the Mayflower in 1620, including Captain Standish himself.

The burying ground is now owned and maintained by the Town of Duxbury and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
